Basketball NI is currently recruiting 2 Elite Performance Head Coaches for TEAM NI’s aspirations to compete in 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games Qualifiers
2 x Senior Elite Performance Head Coaches to lead our Senior Men and Women’s Commonwealth bid to compete in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 representing Northern Ireland for the first time in FIBA 3X3 competition.
This is an exciting time for our ‘Elite Performance Pathway’ that has been strategically developed over the past number of years.
Basketball NI has set up a Commission Group that has been engaging with FIBA, Basketball Ireland and NI Commonwealth Games to help deliver our Elite Performance Pathway strategic goals in qualifying for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (28 July to 8 August) introducing Northern Irish 3X3 Basketball to the global stage.
Both these positions are voluntary roles with Teamwear and Travel Expenses provided. There will be a significant time investment in to developing and reaching our goals as we have every intention of qualifying for Birmingham 2022. Qualifying will take place in Scotland sometime between November 2021 and January 2022.
